About this Website
I decided to visit Iraqi Kurdistan while travelling in Eastern Turkey in 2010. I searched the Internet for information and what I found was spread far and wide, and some of it very out of date. However, the bits and pieces I found were extremely useful and made me feel a lot better about going to Iraq.
When I got home I created this website to centralise all of that information so travellers can find what they are looking for quickly. I also aim to provide a place for people to share their experiences and ask questions.
Since I am no longer in Iraqi Kurdistan and things are constantly changing it is important that travellers contribute their experiences and knowledge. Please email your experiences to .
This website is independent and has no financial backing. If you are able to, please make a donation to help keep it up and running!
I hope you find what you are looking for.
